A week for new tricks
Eleanor really surprised us this week with a whole host of new tricks. We knew that she was able to sit up on her own – and this week we finally caught her in action. She does it by getting up on her hands and knees, and then pushing backwards with her hands and leaning…

First Easter
Eleanor spent her first Easter at Grandma and Grandpa’s house – and what a full house it was! Mackenzie, Jack, Ben, Mahlia and Brooke were all there too! She was super excited to meet Mahlia and Brooke for the first time – and Aunt Kristen and Uncle Michael too! Grandma and Grandpa had a standing…

Spring Arrives
This week Eleanor celebrated St. Patrick’s Day (again) and the first day of Spring. St. Patrick’s Day festivities included getting all dressed up in green, and going out for a Shamrock Shake – and for spring we all went out on a nice walk (and stopped by the cupcake shop). Funny how holidays and tasty deserts…

Green River!
Eleanor went to see the annual Chicago River Dyeing in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. It was a bit cold, so she didn’t get out of her cozy car seat, but we did get a few good pictures. If you look closely in the background, you can see that the cause of the green river…
